Join Us for A Night of Remembrance, Education, Culture, and Prayer
On Friday March 11th 2016, Kyō/Today/今日, the documentary short, will hold its world premier at the JACCC in the heart of Little Toyko. The film gives insight into the lives of six survivers of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami of 3-11-2011. These brave souls share their stories and philosophies, on how they continued to thrive, when so much was lost. They also give insight in to their motivations, found purpose, and what continues to bring them daily happiness. Their stories are truly inspiring, as their messages are examples for people in troubling situations worldwide.
Join us @ 5pm, in the JACCC Noguchi Plaza for food, music, crafts, and community. And record a personal video message to the tsunami survivors, to be seen at the Japanese documentary screening.
Screening starts at 7:15p, doors at 7:00p
Post film, join us for a short heartfelt musical tribute to all those affected by the 3-11 tragedy, and a very special prayer for Japan at 9:46pm, followed by on-stage conversation and Q&A with "Love to Nippon Project" founder Mrs. Masako Unoura-Tanaka who is a survivor of the 3-11 tragedy herself.
